Provide strategic analysis of new semiconductor technologies and propose new differentiated products and services essential to expanding and growing Central's discrete semiconductor solutions portfolio.  Qualified applicants may be considered for a partial telecommute role, working remotely from a U.S.-based home office, and working at Central's Headquarters in Hauppauge, NY a minimum of one week per month. 



  • Analyzes market trends and competitors' developments, and is knowledgeable of industry product, technology, market, and application trends, in effort to develop, plan, and implement strategic plans and priorities in support of corporate objectives.
  • Develops application specific solutions using existing discrete building blocks / IP and advanced packaging (modules, etc.).
  • Analyzes marketing metrics to identify cause and effect relationships in the semiconductor marketplace.
  • Evaluates demographics, prices, distribution channels, and marketing outlets.
  • Conducts secondary research, including locating and analyzing information from industry associations, statisticians and marketing experts.
  • Maintains corporate SWOT and M-ROI analysis; provides periodic reports to the Director of Marketing and VP of WW Sales and Marketing.
  • Identifies new market opportunities; provides update reports to the Director of Marketing.
  • Prepares Product Marketing Analysis (PMA) reports and monitors progress in accordance with Central's new product development process.
  • Suggests and organizes marketing campaigns for select feature products.
  • Interfaces with the VP of Engineering to prepare Central's Technology Road Map presentation.
  • Performs product training and other technical presentations Central's sales network.
  • Provides technical assistance to sales team and manufacturers' reps to support Central's global field sales efforts.
  • Visits key customers to provide technical assistance and design support.
  • Reviews lead generation statistics and prepares analyses for management review.
  • Reviews the ROI of marketing campaigns and prepares executive summaries.
  • Interfaces with the Director of Marketing to review online support efforts and competitive analysis.
  • Develops training modules for Central University training portal.
  • Attends trade shows to support sales team and to present of Central's latest and upcoming products.
  • Prepares quarterly reports on efforts to support the sales team; analysis of trends and new product suggestions.




BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree from a four-year accredited College or University; 5-7 years' experience in a strategic product marketing capacity in the semiconductor industry, including experience with ROI and SWOT analysis concepts.


An MBA degree, or working toward an MBA degree, at an accredited College or University; minor in business/marketing or other relevant degree program; 7 years plus strategic product marketing experience; previous experience working for a manufacturer; previous experience working for a small company (50-150 people); and previous experience with ISO9001:2008/2015, and experience with MIL-PRF-19500, MIL-PRF-38534, and AEC-Q101 screening requirements are all preferred.



Travel up to 25-30% of time.
